PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by decreasing the number of part items for connecting many bar members of a grating. SOLUTION: Many bar members 1 each formed with at least a through hole 2 at the central section in the longitudinal direction are aligned at proper intervals, and a metal pipe-like connecting member 3 is inserted into the through holes 2 of all bar members 1. The end sections of the connecting member 3 protruded from the through holes 2 of the bar members 1 located at both ends in many bar members 1 are lock-held. Portions of the pipe-like connecting member 3 existing between the adjacent bar members 1 are expanded to a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the through holes 2 of the bar members 1 to prevent the movement of the bar members 1 with expanded sections 4.
