PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharge tray and an image forming device capable of discharging a sheet from a surface only by installing the sheet discharge tray without forming a special carrying passage inside the device and without using an exclusive solenoid type switching block. SOLUTION: This sheet discharge tray is composed of an upright base board 1 having a sheet discharge opening 5 of a transfer sheet, a sheet discharge table 2 formed in a position on the lower side of the sheet discharge opening in one surface of the upright base board and first and second guide plates 3 and 4 mutually formed at an interval on the other surface of the upright base board, and is characterized in that the first guide plate 3 extends along the lower edge of the sheet discharge opening, the second guide plate 4 extends along the sheet edge more than the sheet discharge opening, and is formed longer than the first guide plate.
