PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type packing box with seamless bottom which is easily and quickly folded up from a single piece of corrugated cardboard, has no fear of knocking a bottom out or losing a shape during handling even a heavy packed article is stored therein, and can be manufactured at relatively low cost. SOLUTION: In this cardboard, side wall surfaces 2A-2D are connectedly provided at each side of a square bottom surface 1. Fold pieces 6 which have overlapping folds D extending from each corner of the bottom surface 1 are laid astride between each side end of each adjacent pair of side wall surfaces with folds. A cover piece 3 is connectedly provided at one side wall surface, and strip-shaped cover supporting pieces 4 and 5 are connectedly provided at each upper edge of the other three side wall surfaces with folds. Projections 7a and 7b for engagement which project from the upper edge of each fold piece 6 in an overlapped condition are provided therein, and engaged with notches 8 for engagement or insertion holes 9 which are provided in each cover supporting pieces 4 and 5. Fitting slits 13 for half-fitting the projections 7b for engagement are provided on the back surface side of the cover piece 3 in depth of not reaching on the front surface side thereof.
