PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting runner advantageout to improve durability, prevent preceeding erosion of joint part, shorten a time of construction and solve a problem of falling. SOLUTION: The tilting runner is used for receiving of molten iron tapping from an iron runner extended from a blast furnace. The tilting runner 1 is provided with a tiltable tilting runner in air body 6 having a molten iron discharging holes 5 at both end parts and a pre-cast block 8 embedded at the center zone of the tilting runner main body 6 as the one body. The pre-cast block 8 has a cross section of an almost U-shaped trough shape formed by integrating a bed part 9 forming the bottom part with side wall parts 10, 11 erected from both sides of the bed part 9. The bed part 9 is formed of an alumina-silicon carbide base refractory. The side wall parts 10, 11 are formed of an alumina base refractory and contain no or lower silicon-carbide than that of the bed part 9.
