PURPOSE: A port establishment maintenance method is provided to reduce the period and cost of construction and to carry out works safely. CONSTITUTION: The port establishment maintenance method comprises the steps of forming the base(6) of a concrete upright retaining wall(1) having the appointed height, length and thickness to have the appointed width, connecting the upright retaining wall(1) along the slope of an embankment(2) in a line, installing a tie bar(5) laid and fixed to the upright retaining wall(1) and the embankment(2) by an anchor(4) in many rows, then filling an interval with riprap(7).
