<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt tension detecting device capable of preventing malfunction of an airbag. SOLUTION: This seat belt tension detecting device is used for a seat belt device equipped with a webbing W to restrain the body of an occupant in a seat and a retractor 13 to withdrawably take up the webbing W. The device is equipped with a tension detecting means 15 to detect that tension of not less than prescribed one is applied on the webbing W, and a control means not to actuate an airbag based on the condition of the tension detecting means 15.</p> |
