PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make common a valve for actuation control in a speed change control valve and in a lock-up control valve and to constitute a device as simple as possible. SOLUTION: An automatic transmission gear for a vehicle is constituted to include a torque converter TC with the lock-up clutch 4, the automatic transmission gear includes the clutches from first speed to fourth speed 31-34 engageably actuated by being subjected to hydraulic pressure and controls hydraulic exhaust from the clutch for a pre-stage of a pre-speed while at the same time it controls the speed change from the pre-stage to the next stage by controlling hydraulic supply to the clutch for the next stage of the speed change. A control device is constituted of hydraulic release valves for first and second pre-stage 70, 80 hydraulically exhausting from a frictional engaging element for the pre-stage of the speed change when it control the speed change the pre-stage to the next stage, the clock-up control valve 40 and a lock-up timing valve 50 controlling engaged actuation of a lock-up mechanism and a linear solenoid valve 60 actuating and controlling to allow these valves to impress the controlled hydraulic pressure. |
