PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant block for simplifying working efficiency for laminating a number of inorganic fiber blankets so that they can be retained in a compressed state. SOLUTION: In the heat-resistant block A where the inorganic fiber blanket 1 is laminated and is retained in a compressed state, a pin member C consisting of an axis section 4 having length being equivalent to the total compression length of the lamination blanket in a compressed state, and head sections 5 and 5 projecting in a radius direction from both the ends is used, and the lamination blanket is retained in a compressed state by the pin member C.
