PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perforated steel plate dowel whose fatigue strength and plastic deformation capacity associated with stress concentration are enhanced and which enables an improvement in dowel effect in the direction of a bridge axis and the direction orthogonal to the bridge axis. SOLUTION: The perforated steel plate dowel 10 is fixed to a member by welding and buried in concrete so as to be used for coupling the member and the concrete together. The dowel 10 is characterized as follows: at least the side of an end 10a undergoing the stress concentration in the longitudinal direction of the dowel 10 is bent in order to form a curved folded part 12.
