The container for an integrated circuit,IC, chip is in the form of a two part (14,16) housing with both parts secured together by screws (18). The chip is mounted on a board (18) and contacts (20,22) provide a connection between the housing and the chip. If an unauthorized opening occurs the chip program code is blocked to prevent copying.
