摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for vehicles free from looseness of a shank in axial direction with its stop ring once reduced in diameter at the time of its insertion into a through hole and then diametrically enlarged to engage a shoulder while an attachment groove is formed slightly larger than the diameter of the stop ring. SOLUTION: A part of a hollow cross section 31 of the shank 4 is diametrically enlarged in the position corresponding to the fit concave 30 of a hub wheel 1, to form a fit convex 32. Fixing the fit convex 32 into the fit concave 30 prevents the shank 4 from slipping off from the penetration 2, and then makes it easy to fit the shank into the through hole 2 while preventing its looseness toward an axial center 6. Total weight of the device can be reduced by extending the hollow cross section 31 as long as possible toward the axial center 6.
