PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for thermosensitive lithographic printing having good on-press developability, high sensitivity, high plate wear resistance, a difficulty in a contamination of printing and good ink repellency in the plate capable of printing, by mounting the plate in a printer as it is after scanning exposure based on a digital signal. SOLUTION: The original plate for thermosensitive lithographic printing comprises a thermosensitive layer containing a microcapsule for enclosing (a) a fine particle polymer having a heat reactive sensitive group, or (b) a compound having a heat reactive sensitive group on an aluminum support having an anodized film. The plate also comprises an undercoating layer provided on a surface of the anodized layer and containing a water soluble resin having a carboxyl group or a carboxylate group, and a water soluble salt of at least one type of metal selected from the group consisting of zinc, calcium, magnesium, barium, strontium, cobalt, manganese and nickel. |
