PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stair that is provided with a decorated riser member at the corner formed by the bottom surface of the tread board and the top of the front side surface of the riser in order to prevent stumbling over the bottom surface of the tread board projecting forward more than the front side surface of the riser. SOLUTION: The tread board 1 and the bottom surface 12 of the tread board 1 slightly behind the front end side 11 is connected with the top end part 2a of the riser 2 and a decorated riser member 4 is installed on the corner 3 formed by the bottom surface 12 of the tread board 1 and the front side surface 21 of the riser 2. The top part of the front part 41 of the decorated riser member 4 is nearly leveled as leveled part 41a with the front end side 11 of the tread board 1, and the bottom part of the front part 41 of the decorated riser member 4 is sloped as sloped part 41b that approaches the riser 2 as it stretches downwards.
