PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a distrust of a user when operating an elevator by remote control even when a building does not vibrate by providing occurrence place information on an earthquake. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a transmission side building having a sensor for sensing the occurrence of an earthquake and a building side transmitter for informing earthquake detecting information, a receiving side building having a building side receiver for receiving an earthquake control operation command and a control device for stopping the elevator on the basis of the received earthquake control operation command, a control center having a center side receiver for receiving the earthquake detecting information from the transmission side building and a center side transmitter for transmitting the earthquake control operation command to the receiving side building and an information device for announcing earthquake information to at least one of a car, a hall and a building of the receiving side building receiving the earthquake control operation command.
