PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet loader and a sheet processor capable of simplifying and miniaturizing the constitution, capable of improving productivity and capable of coping with required various loading capacity. SOLUTION: A control means can lift a sheet loading tray 2 by a lifting means when a position of the sheet loading tray 2 detected by a position detecting means is above the prescribed detecting reference height, and can only lower the sheet loading tray 2 by the lifting means when the position of the sheet loading tray 2 is below the detecting reference height.
