PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound of the formula (II) or (III), useful as a photopolymerization initiator, to provide a compound of the formula (I), used as a raw material for the compound of the formula (II) or (III), and to provide a method for producing the compound of the formula (I), (II) or (III). SOLUTION: The compound of the formula (I), (II) or (III). The compound of the formula (III) is, for example, obtained by reacting the compound of the formula (I) with phosgene to form a phosphine chloride, then reacting the formed phosphine chloride with an alcohol and further with an organohalogenocompound to form the compound of the formula (III). Lithium (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) isobutylphosphine and 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylisobutylbenzylphosphine are exemplified as the compounds of the formulae (I) and (III), respectively. |
