PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for eliminating an allergen which develops latex allergy and exists within protein contained in latex. SOLUTION: The cases of immediate type allergy capable of developing dyspnea or anaphylaxis to the people of using products from natural rubber latex (gloves and a catheter) are reported increasingly, including cases of death. The allergenic protein and odorous substance contained in latex are eliminated by extraction with carbon dioxide supercritical fluid.
