<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling control device for a vehicle capable of eliminating a sense of anxiety held by a driver because of his not being able to correctly recognizing a vehicle state concerning an automatic stopping mode by making the driver recognize automatic stopping mode related information not accompanied by driver operation. SOLUTION: A display judgement means is made to be a means to deliver a command to display information mentioning that the automatic stopping mode is in the middle of practice to a display means on the travelling control device for the vehicle having a car speed detection means, a relative distance detection means, a target inter-vehicle distance setting means, a braking and driving force regulation means, a travelling control means to practice a following control mode to control the braking and driving force regulation means so that a relative distance matches with a target inter-vehicle distance and an automatic stopping mode to maintain a self-vehicle in a stopping state in accordance with stopping of a preceding vehicle, the display means to display a vehicle controlling state to be a target by the travelling control means and the display judgement means to judge whether to display the vehicle controlling state in the display means or not.</p> |
