摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating resistance element which is easily mounted and a thermal air flowmeter which can accurately measure the flow rate of a flow accompanied by a back flow in a thermal air flowmeter for measuring the flow of intake air in an internal combustion engine, by connecting the heating resistance element and an electric circuit with the minimum distance, and by sensing a difference between the heat transfer of the heating resistance elements arranged on the upstream side and the downstream side so as to be large. SOLUTION: The heating resistance element 8 comprises a substrate 5, a pair of heating resistors 6a, 6b each of which is arranged on the face and the back of the substrate 5, three electrode terminals 14, 15, 16 arranged around one end of the substrate 5, and passages 18 penetrated the substrate 5, wherein the heat resistance element is arranged at a slant with respect to the direction of the air flow.</p>
