PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus capable of cooling an object to be cooled quickly while suppressing the consumption of a refrigerant low without increasing the cost and size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The cooling apparatus 2 is provided with a container for a refrigerant 13 which is retentive of a refrigerant LN and connectable to an object of cooling 14 and a box 11 for holding the container 13. The container 13 is cylindrically made of a low thermal conductivity material and comprises a first storage 13a which is directly connected or connected with a high thermal conductivity material to the object and a second storage 13b connected under the first storage 13a and injected the refrigerant LN through the first storage 13a.
