A book or similar publication, comprising a cover (1) and a set of bound pages (2), has a separable block (3) of smaller numbered and perforated pages for making notes. The block is attached to the spine of the book cover by a fastening system (4, 5) such as a metal strip and magnet or self-adhesive fabric e.g. Velcro (RTM).
