PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-type vertical engine capable of stably performing hanging works and improving the freedom degree of a design with relatively less interfering to other peripheral devices and to provide a hanger structure of an outboard motor mounting the engine. SOLUTION: In this V-type vertical engine 1, first and second hanger brackets 37, 38 and 39 are fitted to the both outside faces of a cylinder head, and third hanger brackets 37, 38, and 39 are fitted to an approximately center in the outside face of a crankcase 5. In particular, the third hanger brackets 37, 38, and 39 are favorable to be disposed in a loop of an endless belt 20 for driving a generator fixed to the outside face of the crankcase 5. |
