PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a starter small-sized and light in weight. SOLUTION: The conventional inertia in either of a tubular commutator and an armature coil is reduced, and inertia for an armature 540 is reduced, because a lower coil end 537 and an upper coil end 534 which ensure the first connection and the second connection are interconnected to the end at an armature core 500 through an insulating medium. Accordingly when a pinion gear 21 engages with a ring gear 100, impact torque imparted upon an inertia revolution is reduced and a gear use can be reduced to M=0.9. In addition, a diameter of the bearing can be reduced due to the fact that the reaction R1 produced by an armature bearing 570, the portion which is occupied by the weight in the conventional tubular particles, and the support and distribution of the reaction R1 are reduced from the present 1/L to 1'/L'. This indicates that the number of the teeth in a sun gear 310 is reduced to Zs=8 (the bottom: Φ5.85) and the speed reduction ratio: I=8.25 can be set. |
