PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a backlash of a pinion shaft against a bearing without enhancing fitting accuracy of a spindle part of the pinion shaft to the bearing in a steering device. SOLUTION: In this steering device 10, a rotational motion of the pinion shaft 14 is converted into a liner motion of a rack shaft 16 and transmitted to a steering wheel. When supporting the spindle part 40 of the pinion shaft 14, in a housing 11A, by the bearing 14B, an O-ring 42 (an annular elastic body) is interposed between the spindle part 40 and the bearing 14B. |
