PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing unit of a tape-like material for obtaining an accurate stopping position with excellent positional accuracy and capable of performing sure processing when processing an electronic part mounting film carrier tape in a processing part. SOLUTION: Either or both of a back tension applying device and a drive device are constituted so as to apply prescribed tension to the electronic part mounting film carrier tape by sandwiching the electronic part mounting film carrier tape between a driving roller and a presser roller.
