PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormal heating medium supply during the operation of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: There are provided on an indoor machine a first temperature sensor provided downstream an electronic expansion valve, a second temperature sensor provided downstream a heat exchanger, a room temperature sensor for detecting indoor temperature, and a decision control device for deciding abnormal supply of a refrigerant. Then the indoor machine is interrupted in the state where the electronic expansion valve is closed (step S10), a temperature differenceΔT1 between temperature detected by the first temperature sensor and that detected by the room temperature sensor is larger than a predetermined value Ta (step S18), and a temperature difference between temperature detected by the second temperature sensor and that detected by the room temperature sensor is larger than the predetermined value Ta (step S20); it is judged that the electronic expansion valve is opened and abnormal supply happens. It is hereby possible to detect abnormal supply of a refrigerant during the operation of an air conditioner.
