PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at a low cost, an underwear suitable for wide-ranging applications for men as well as ladies, excellent in percentage elongation and elastic recovery of percentage elongation, and also having enough burst strength and drape. SOLUTION: This underwear is made of a knitted fabric where conjugate fiber filaments formed by conjugating different kinds of polyester polymers with each other along the fiber length direction in a side-by-side fashion, are contained at >=10 wt.% based on the whole constituent yarns and whose average percentage elongation in the longitudinal and horizontal directions and average elastic recovery of percentage are >=55% and >=60% respectively, and also the knitted fabric has a burst strength of >=0.25 Mpa and a bending resistance determined by the cantilever method of 5-30 mm.
