PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape 1 for forming a wig base, capable of obtaining both sufficient flexibility and shape retention even without using a core material such as a metallic wire. SOLUTION: This tape 1 to be used for forming a wig base comprises a tube obtained by knitting synthetic resin monofilaments 2 in a cylindrical shape and made flat with a width of 1-5 mm.
