PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low melting point alloy free from toxicity as a weight substituted for lead which has been used heretofore, also free from extreme deterioration in workability and the weight compared with lead, further free from the reduction of the melting point comapred with a low melting point alloy which has been present heretofore and optimum for use as a weight. SOLUTION: This low melting alloy contains, by weight, about 5 to 25% tin and about 75 to 95% bismuth.
