PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vanadium addition material for steel obtained by mixing a reducing material such as silicon and aluminum into ammonium metavanadate as an inexpensive intermediate product in the process of producing ferrovanadium as the conventional vanadium addition material and molding the mixture. SOLUTION: A binder is added to ammonium metavanadate and a reducing material, they are mixed, and this mixture is made into briquettes by using a briquetting machine.
