PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap remover capable of smoothly removing a cap by automatically making the axis of a bottle coincide with the holding axis of the cap. SOLUTION: When a neck part 11a of the bottle 11 is inserted in a cap insertion port 20a among three holding claws 14, the cap 12 is externally held by the holding claws 14, and the axis of the bottle 11 agrees with the holding axis. When a holding structural body 15 is turned by a geared motor 16 in a loosening direction in this agreed condition, the holding claws 14 are turned around the holding axis, and the cap 12 can be easily removed. As a result, even when the axis of the bottle 11 is positionally deviated from the holding axis, both axes are made to automatically coincide with each other when the cap is held by the holding claws 14, and the cap 12 can be easily removed.
