PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed container having a resealable screw lid which cannot be restored to its original shape once unsealed wherein the lid can be easily unsealed manually even when it is applied to a container with a wide mouth. SOLUTION: The sealed container with a screw lid includes a vessel 110 having an external thread 112 at an upper end of an outer periphery and a lid 120 for covering an upper opening of the vessel having an annular thread 121 equipped with an internal thread 122 to be screwed with the external thread on an inner periphery and an annular engaging part 131 provided below the annular thread. The vessel has a stopper 114 on the outer periphery below the external thread, and the annular engaging part 131 of the lid has a cutout 130, so that when the lid is screwed over the vessel, a cutout protrusion provided on an internal surface of the cutout is engaged with a stopper protrusion provided on the stopper to prevent the lid from rotating in a direction in which the lid opens against the vessel. Then the cutout is cut off, thereby disengaging the cutout protrusion from the stopper protrusion, and in addition allowing the annular engaging part to be cut off.
