PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressing force applied from a grouser to a mounting face without using an elastic material such as rubber. SOLUTION: This guard is provided with a pad member 13 positioned between the grousers 7a, 7b of a grouser shoe 7 for forming a crawler 6, and an attaching means 14 for attaching the pad member 13 in a mud removing hole 7c position in the grouser shoe 7. The pad member 13 comprises a steel material, has a flat face 13a on a plane same to end parts of the grousers 7a, 7b, and is formed to be adapted to a groove part 7d between the grousers 7a, 7b. The attaching means 14 is provided with an engagement body 14a engaged with the mud removing hole 7c, a flange part 14b for locking the engagement body 14a to the hole 7c, a bolt 14c for tightening the pad member 13 to the engagement body 14a, a tapped hole 14d screwed with the bolt 14c, and a through hole 14e provided in the pad member 13. The pressing force applied onto the mounting face 15 by the grousers 7a, 7b is dispersed thereby.
