PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely conduct a steering operation, in a steering system for a farm working machine provided with a transmission means for turning for decelerating, braking or rotation-driving reversely one side travel device of which the side clutch is released, wherein the side clutch of the one side travel device is released at first when a steering operation tool is operated to one side out of left and right sides, and wherein the side clutch-released travel device is connected interlockingly to the transmission means for the turning via a clutch for the turning by a subsequent unidirectnal steering operation. SOLUTION: Slippable low torque transmission means are equipped in the clutches 30L, 30R for the turning to transmit low torque to the travel devices 1L, 1R all the time irrespective of connection or disconnection (release) of the side clutches 20L, 20R, and driven side friction plates 34L, 34R of the clutches 30L, 30R are supported directly fitted around the tooth parts of side clutch gears 23L, 23R.
