PURPOSE: A prefabricated block for covering an embankment is provided to prevent costal soils from scouring and collapsing by protecting the seaside from a tide or a wave. CONSTITUTION: The prefabricated block(B) for covering an embankment inclined in a gentle gradient of 1 to 3 comprises the steps of installing two projected spaces(5) on one side of the outside of the wall of a rectangular hollow block(4) containing four walls of the appointed size and height, retreating two rectangular retreated parts on the other side of the outside of the wall, paving a large riprap layer(7) in the lower side of the rectangular hollow block(4), paving a pebble layer(8) on the large riprap layer(7) and paving a pavement block(9) having many through holes(10) bored vertically.
