The present summary concerns to a request of patent of invention for a fixation device of a mirror cover to a command set, appertaining to the field of the components of the external rear-view mirrors of automotive vehicles, that was developed to proportionate a more simple and efficient fixation than the conventional one being comprised by, at least, three fixation sets, each one being substantially comprised: by flange (40) disposed in the edge formed by the opening (6) of the mirror cover (2), adjacent and supported in which the base in form of a ring (30) of the command set remains, and this flange has a cuneiform projection (41), that is coupled to the groove (32) of the mentioned base in form of a ring (30); by a stop (44) projected from the mirror cover (2), radially aligned with the flange (40) and that keeps a space with relation to this one; by a seat defined by gutters (42) and (45) previewed in the front faces of the flange (40) and by a stop (44) and by a hole (43) that is practiced in the region of the mirror cover (2) that remains in the space between the mentioned flange (40) and stop (44); and said fixation set is also comprised by a pin (46), that is received under pressure in the seat (43)-(45)-(43) and presses the cuneiform projection (41) against the peripheral groove (32) of the base in form of a ring (30).
