PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodynamic fluid thrust bearing device in which a floatation quantity and stability thereof are securely obtained. SOLUTION: A length of non-hydrodynamic groove of at least either one of an interior circumferential side or an exterior circumferential side of a hydrodynamic pressure generation groove 2 on both surface of a thrust plate 3 is set as 20 times or less of the flotation quantity of the thrust plate 3 obtained by the hydrodynamic pressure generation groove 2, then the flotation quantity and the stability of the hydrodynamic fluid thrust bearing device is improved because a resistance of oil inflow to the thrust bearing part can be lowered.
