PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross flow fan heater which can easily increase the airflow by increasing the total length of a great number of cylindrical impellers 12 without increasing the length of horizontal direction of a chassis 11. SOLUTION: A great number of cylindrical impellers are connected vertically and a motor 13 to drive these cylindrical impellers are accommodated in the chassis; the motor is fixed in parallel with the part of cylindrical impellers in the chassis, and each divider plate 11a is fixed near both ends, a support shaft 15 sticks out from both ends of cylindrical impellers, a driven shaft 16 and a motor drive shaft 13a are provided in free rotation between each divided plate 11a and each end wall 11b, cylindrical impellers can be rotated through driven catching part by the drive shaft of motor, and the space between a divided plate and end wall is made up narrow.
