PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake master cylinder of which a spring wire is not caught on opening end faces of pistons, that air does not remain inside the bore of a piston and that air bleeding property is high. SOLUTION: This brake master cylinder comprises maximum outside diameter parts S1a, S2a larger than outside diameters on both end parts mounted in the center parts of springs S1, S2 to have the maximum outside diameter parts S1a, S2a placed inside from the opening end faces 31c, 32c of the bores 31b, 32b of the pistons 31, 32.
