PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain remarkable improvement of performance of base isolation, by displaying a trigger function and a damper function equivalent to a metal bar damper, and having vertical load support capacity more than layered rubber, in addition sufficiently damping horizontal damping force of fixed value or more by an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: This support device is constituted by bonding one elastic rubber layer 5 vulcanized between upper/lower two sheets of hard plates 3, 4, setting its shape coefficient to 10 or more and 50 or less to fix a vibration damping part 1 to a side of a lower structure B, holding a hard plate material 10 fitted through an elastic rubber 12 to an upper part of the vibration damping part in a recessed part 11a of a recessed hard member 11, fixing a slip member 8 in a side of an upper structure A to the hard plate material 10, and arranging a slip support part 2 connected formed by fixing a slip plate 9 relatively movably slide abutting to a lower surface of the slip member 8. |
