PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a plastic material absolutely free from the release of undesirable substances or releasing a negligible amount of undesirable substances, colorless in itself and having significantly wide application spectrum compared with conventional plastics. SOLUTION: In the case of a colorless plastic exhibiting little release of undesirable substances, at least one kind of zeolite having ZSM-5 structure is incorporated in the plastic. The zeolite has a maximum water-absorption capacity of 10 wt.% based on the zeolite at 25 deg.C and 4.6 Torr.
