PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial agent composition capable of exhibiting excellent antimicrobial activities when being compounded with a synthetic resin, and hardly changing the color with time when being molded, preserved and used, and further to provide an antimicrobial artificial marble especially usable for a kitchen counter, a washstand, an article for a toilet, an article for a bath, or the like. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial agent composition comprises (a) a silver salt of a phosphorus-containing oxyacid, (b) an inorganic ion-exchanger and (c) one or more kinds of oxides selected from zinc oxide, titanium oxide and silicon oxide. The antimicrobial resin composition contains the antimicrobial agent composition in the synthetic resin.
