PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a capsular carbon having an uniform grain size industrially and economically profitably. SOLUTION: This capsular carbon has an average grain diameter of 0.05-5.0 μm with thickness of 0.01-1.0 μm and a size distribution of grain diameter of 30% or less. The method for manufacturing the same is to obtain a compound grain powder by mixing inorganic compound grains, a coupling agent and fine grains of carbon black, and by coating the surfaces of inorganic compound grains with the coupling agent and adhering carbon black to the surface of the coupling agent and thereafter to make carbon black remain by melting the inorganic compound grains and the coupling agent of the powder. |
