PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card door lock device provided on the body of a recording regeneration device or the like (video camera, digital camera, etc.), equipped with a card door and comprising a card door opening and closing detecting mechanism and a lock function by the engagement of an engagement groove provided on the card door and a parallel movable engagement claw provided on the camera body, which can surely satisfy the opening and closing operability and function of the card door even in the increase in locking force of the card door and has a structural freedom with a small space. SOLUTION: The parallel movable engagement claw 204b provided on the recording regeneration device body 201 is provided with a two-directionally movable mechanism by a hinge-shaped part 204c, a mechanism for pressing an opening and closing detection switch 207 by a link mechanism 210 is provided on the recording regeneration device body 201. Accordingly, a card door lock device capable of surely satisfying the opening and closing operability and function of the card door even if the locking force of the card door is increased and having a structural freedom with a small space can be provided.
