PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation mode remodeling device of an existing elevator for executing work for remodeling an operation mode of the existing elevator in a short time. SOLUTION: This operation mode remodeling device is provided with a data gathering means 4 for gathering operation data on the existing elevator 1 via the Internet 3, a selecting means 5 for selecting the operation mode optimal for the existing elevator 1 on the basis of the gathered operation data and a rewriting means 7 for rewriting an existing control program of the existing elevator 1 to a remodeled control program via the Internet 3 to thereby quickly execute both gathering work of the operation data, selecting work of the optimal operation mode and rewriting work of the control program.
