PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice heat storage type air conditioning device to realize effective saving of energy and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The ice heat storage type air conditioning device has a heat storage tank 15 to contain water, and uses an ice heat for cooing operation during the daytime by icing water by using a power during the night, a solar heat collector (a heating means) 36 is provided to heat water in the heat storage tank 15 by utilizing a solar heat.
