In this connecting apparatus for the conductor of a submersible motor, a plurality of conductor ends are gathered and connected, the circumference of their gathered and connected part is insulated, and the gathered and connected part is arranged in a liquid. A plug 40, for conductor connection, which is provided with a plurality of connecting terminals and whose circumference excluding parts of the connecting terminals is insulated in advance is attached to a connection in which the plurality of conductor ends are gathered and connected. The connecting terminal of the plug 40 and the end of a conductor are connected in a straight-line shape. The circumference of their connection is insulated.
