METHOD FOR PROCESSING ASSIGNMENT OF INTENSITY LEVEL OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method for processing an assignment of an intensity level of a plasma display panel is provided to improve picture quality by reducing granular noise corresponding to a minimum display level value. CONSTITUTION: An A/D converter portion(11) converts inputted analog image signals into digital image data. The converted digital image data are stored in a flame memory(15). The digital image data stored in the flame memory(15) is outputted to a plasma display panel(100) by using an output processing portion(16). A synchronous signal separator portion(17) is used for separating a synchronous signal from the analog image signal. A timing generator portion(18) is used for generating a timing pulse on the basis of the synchronous signal. A memory control portion(19) controls an output operation of data and a storing operation of the data on the basis of the timing pulse. A drive timing control portion(20) controls the output processing portion(16) on the basis of the timing pulse and outputs a drive pulse to the plasma display panel(100).
