PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to enlarge a deposition area of fluorescent material in an image pixel and extend a discharge path between electrodes by forming an address electrode, separator and fluorescent material in a pectination shape. CONSTITUTION: A PDP comprises a pair of sustain electrodes(13) patterned on an upper glass substrate with a horizontal stripe shape, an address electrode(16) patterned on a lower glass substrate in a pectination shape and a separator(18) formed between the upper and the lower substrates in a pectination shape along to the address electrode. Discharge gas like He+Xe is injected into the discharge space located among the upper and the lower substrates and the separator. A metal bus electrode(13a) is formed on the upper substrate to reduce a voltage drop of the pair of the sustain electrodes and a dielectric substance and a protection film are laminated on the metal bus electrode. A dielectric substance is laminated on the address electrode and the separator(18) is formed in a pectination shape at the lower substrate. A fluorescent material is deposited on the surface of the separator and the dielectric substance. Therefore, the fluorescent material is patterned in a pectination shape along to the separator. |
