PURPOSE: Communication devices for a passenger conveyor is provided to solve a problem that radio are shielded by a metal to disable communications when a radio device is installed in a passenger conveyor housing. CONSTITUTION: The surface of an operation panel(10) provided near the boarding/alighting floor(2) of the passenger conveyor for the operation of an emergency stop switch or the like is formed with a nonmetallic material, and the antenna of the radio device is installed near the surface in the operation panel. Thereby, radio waves are not affected by the metal housing of the passenger conveyor, the radio device can be easily fitted, and the design is not restricted. |
